1996 ZJ New to me.

I just picked up this ZJ last night. It has an iron rock 4.5 Inch lift with upgraded front and rear track bars and the norm of parts for a zj lift kit. it dosn't how ever have the lower control arms. It also sits on Procomp m/t's 33x12.5x15 with off brand tires. I decided to take it out today and test it a bit. got two picks, got to love the factory short arms on the jeep.

The jeep has the 5.2l in it and automatic. it has 184k on the clock and still runs strong. I did have a Death wobble but when you lift a jeep and keep the factory stabilizer it can make a problem occur. so i was able to swing by 4wheelparts locally and picked up a rancho es5000 stabilizer and it took care of the dw!!

My plans are to upgrade the suspension with a rough country upgrade long arm kit. But front and rear bumpers and a roof rack to hold the light that are there and the spare tire and jack i have for it. also going to be fixing the paint work and taking off the lower moldings and bedlining them for some rock protection along with rock sliders. Got alot of work to do to it but it will come around in time. Let me know what you think.

Here is the two pics i have from today.

Very nice Jeep, wish mine came with the 4.5" lift and bigger tires but 3.5 will do for now. good luck with her.

yeah i got lucky though. got it for 1800 cause you can't communicate with the pcm so that you can get a state inspection. so i have a little work to get it dd ready but shouldn't be a problem.
