So couple things I managed to get done, was I fixed the dimmer switch, bc the dash lights at night were flickering, so I soldered the points in the back and WA-LA FIXED.

Also, I went to walmart and bought two "driving/fog" lights and I had an extra piece of u-channel or strut bar w/e you choose to call it and mounted it to my "front bumper."

Here are some pics...

Thanks Matt, it's definitely a slow process though, been super busy lately! This weekend I'm finishing the hood and painting the cladding, so ill be posting up pictures of that when I get it done.

So did a couple more things to the jeep since I had a about 4-5 hours on saturday to get some things done to the jeep! (been busy!)

*New battery
*New battery terminals
*New power cable running from the alternator to the fuse box, original one was pretty ugly looking and finally failed/broke! Caused the check gauges light to come on and cause the alternator to kick on and off.
*Valve cover gasket replaced with blue felpro gasket,b/c was having a major leak through the original gasket. Managed to even BREAK one of the bolts when tightening the bolts by hand. but does NOT leak. If it starts leaking later on I may take it back off and take the bolt out and replace bolt, not worried about fixing that until it leaks again! But currently NO OIL LEAKS ON MY ZJ!!!

(original power cord is what is picture in the battery picture small dinky cord PO used for the alternator!!)

Got off work today, and went to start the ZJ and I thought the starter had blown because it just kept makign that whirling sound. So I get out of the jeep pop the hood and the cylnoid for the starter had completely gotten unscrewed lol and the "piston" and spring were just sitting in the parking lot haaa... tightened it back up and good as new!!!

So, I ended up taking my Jeep to "Hecklers" in North Texas, to get my transmission rebuilt with the upgraded/updated springs. 3rd gear was HORRIBLE would have to rev it up and then let off gas to get it to shift from 3rd to 4th.

I got it back yesterday, I'm having a buddy of mine (who owns a shop) work on the oil pan gasket (which was leaking like a waterfall). Been super busy (which is why I had my buddy do the gasket) but excited to get it back with the new transmission and the oil leak fixed!

I will be contacting KOLAK in a couple weeks and ordering adjustable rear control arms for upper and lower. After I get those put in I will be getting some new 32x11.50x15 inch tires. That is all for now..

5 weeks until our little boy Max is born!!! Will try and keep this updated as much as possible!
