Well loading the jeep is a pain in the butt since it can't get on the trailer under its own power. So Tim had a bright idea. Why not move the 1000hp Mustang off the lift, push the XJ onto it and back the trailer under it.

Much easier.

Got home and placed couple orders of parts.

Ballistic shock mounts and front link mounts are ordered. And also since my master cylinder/booster is so big I don't have room for my shocks. So I went ahead and bit the bullet and ordered a complete Wilwood setup.

Pedals and dual manual masters

And as of 8/18/10. This is where I stand.

I have 2 weeks to get it done for a charity run. Which more then likely isn't going to happen. But I do need it done for the Jeff Daniel's Jeep show on Sept 18th. I am doing a demo for Rausch Creek in the Jeep for them. Should be a good time.

Also I have my first race on Oct 16th. So I need to be tested and ready to tech that morning.

Updates should come just about every day since I have so much work to do in so little time.

Hope you guys enjoy the build.

Bent up the front shock hoops and pulled out the booster and master cylinder. Now I have all the room I need for the hoops and support bars.

Trans and PS coolers and bump cans are in down at Liquid Iron, Timmay just needs to send them over to me. New Wilwood setup should be here tomorrow. And ballistic coilover mounts for the inner C and axle link mounts will be in mid next week.

This weekend I want to finish all the triangulation and get the front end finished up. Seat mounts and shifters are also on the list. Lots of work ahead of me. Only 2 weeks left to be ready for my trail ride.

Thanks for the complements guys.

Yesterday I got the door bars done on both sides. Four support bars behind the seats that go from the door bars down then back up to the coilover mounts. Got the shock hoops in up front and welded in two support bars for each.

Got the rest of the pedal assembly out too. So when the new stuff shows up I should be able to just fab a bracket and bolt them up.

Didn't get any pictures yesterday but will shoot some today. Sadly the Jeep is outside and it is raining so it is going to be a little slow going today.

Cycled the suspension all the way in the rear and it looks like I have to push the coilover mounts in on the axle about 2" because it hits the tire at full stuff. But if I push it all the way in then I hit the chassis. So I bent up some more tube and will be cutting some parts out. No biggy, just want it done right and not find out that everything hits on the trial.

Also when driving down my driveway last night at 10 O'clock I saw two boxes sitting in the woods. Stopped my truck and it was my Wilwood stuff.

We must have a new UPS man that doesn't want to drive down my 700 foot long driveway. So he just through the package in the woods. WTF?

Got it all together and ran it at Rausch Creek this past weekend.

Everything worked really well. Steering is still sucking air but other then that, it was great.

Broke a shock and an upper link mount over the weekend. All the parts I need are on the way.

Also I will have this thing at the Jeff Daniel's Jeep Show on Sept 18th in Harleysville, PA if anyone is in the area. I will be doing the offroad demonstration on their course out back.

Picked up Letzroll Offroad as a sponsor yesterday. So i ordered a bunch of PSC parts from them.

8" reservoir with baffle and a 4.5" pulley so I get more power and speed out of the steering. And a lot less cavitation.
