Spent the evening in the garage trying to find the cause of my rough, low 300-500rpm surge and possibly why I am getting 6 miles to the gallon on 31's (if you can call a single car apartment stall half full of toolbox and crap a garage) Current temp 26 degrees.
This First picture of the engine bay shows 2 issues I found Both vacuum lines. The small one was broken clean and wrapped with duct tape that crumbled when I took it off, Fixed with heat shrink.
The second was closed off with electrical tape and I cannot figure out where she should be going..
Either way, after that and cleaning out the throttle body as well as I could leaving it connected and a slight adjustment of the idle screw she is purring a nice 775+-
Also found a mystery (to me) ground that had a section or wire about 20" wired into it very poorly with butt connectors so I removed and soldered the wires back together. I need to find a diagram for my relay centers and fuse panel. Its looking pretty gnarly down there and I dont know where to get started
