I voted for the TJ rims. That would look sweet on it.

I'm going to look at my shop tomorrow, I might be able to throw together a set of TJ Ravines, which trump Canyons.

I'm obviously new to the XJ/MJ scene, does anybody know if I can get stock replacement springs anywhere? I'm going to replace the control arms up front with the stock arms I took off of my LJ, and I would like to replace some of the other suspension parts with newer stuff if possible. I know it is unlikely to find new rear leafs, but I would at least like to replace the bushings on them. They are rotting pretty good.

napa carries front springs. They don't look to be OEM though. Rockauto probably would have stock front springs. Autozone carries all the bushings and such.

I have a complete center console (with brackets) and cupholders if you do decide to go that route. Looking forward to seeing the progress on this.

You got to three pages of posts pretty quickly - maybe I should start a thread for my '88.

What color? I have a gray interior. Do you still have that tool box?

It's gray - I used it with the old '90 interior and I do still have the tool box.

I say keep the bench seat. Then the wimminz can snuggle up on road trips.
