What caused the issue in the first place? I had a toe amputated in the winter this year...that sucked and it still causes me problems.
Well that's a long story. but the short version. I fell through a ceiling, spread my arms out to stop my fall, i grabbed a light blub on the way down, landed on my back / hips. The light bulb broke in my hand and lacerated both flex-or tendons in my ring finger,/ 2 years and 5 surgeries later and countless months in physical therapy. I have 2 semi functioning fingers my ring fingers last joint doesn't contract. and my pinky's middle joint doesn't contract. however the tendon attached to the last joint is strong enough to do the rest of the fingers jobs and pull the finger into a fist
Ouch! That sucks man. Glad it is making progress. I had my right foot crushed by a 5,000 lb plus pound Air Force pallet on the ramp of a C-130. They had to cut off my ring toe. I start therapy next week (finally). It broke my big toe and caused serious trauma to the rest of my foot. Now I have to wear wide toe shoes, can't squat long and can't pivot on my right toes...the ones that remain. So I kinda feel your pain. Hope you heal up and get back at the build man.

for those of you who havent tried. putting a motor in on grass sucks. straight up sucks. soon however. my stepdad / engine builder guy is moving to a place with a real shop on his property. than .. than the suspension begins!!
ok sorry for the lack of updates. lifes been happening. heres the low down. motor runs STRONG.. when it runs. now it doesnt want to start. it ran for about 10 minutes. header paint smoked off of course. i drove it around the property and it died. i assumed it was out of gas. got back from the gas station. crank crank crank. turns out. no spark. ( timing light hooked up to coil or spark plug one = no results ) so i think its part of my relay area ( i hear them clicking uncontrollably sometimes ) or my coil it self. it got left in the rain one day.
ok after some serious head scratching im at a loss. im getting no spark. from the coil. the coil has power going in. ive replaced the coil. swapped brains. tried a new(used) CPS that may or may not be good. switched out all the relays. cleaned the c101 connector. still just cranks cranks cranks. no spark. plenty of fuel. it ran great for 20 minutes. now its just dead. ideas???? ive got 2 good grounds ( dipstick to battery , and firewall to intake manifold). and i get continuity from the battery to the fire wall so i know its grounding there. is there another ground im missing somewhere? some fuse or fuse-able link that will kill spark? or are both my CPS's bad? the both read 200 - 235 ohms on the meter. and when plugged in and cranking the engine. i read .2 and .01 vac on my meter. somewhere i read that they should put out .5 vac ? any renix gurus out there care to chime in ??? help !
