Looks like my future upgrade list will include a bored throttle body... than the valves in my head will be the final bottle neck of breathing. and im ok with that.

theres a special kind of slide hammer u can use on them, ive seen the machine shop guys use them on flywheels to pull out dowel pins before machining it, if u look around u might be able to find or borrow one

today and yesterday saw much of the wire wheel brush. mucho cleaning, mucho painting, mucho swearing, and now im mucho tired.
but i did get the block painted.

also notice the 3 triceratops worth of crude oil baked onto the lining of the valve cover. its soaking in break solvent overnight

Sure the yellow inje tors are 703 and not 710? 710 seems too much for your set up. And i like the red!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bosch-028015...item3cc11ca55f Those are the injectors I bought, the guy sent them quick, TBD if they work cause the engine is still at the machine shop.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Pick up these, everything I read says it works well. I am going to cover my sexy chrome headers to help keep the temps down.

That engine looks great man. I have some new stuff up on mine...maybe you can answer my questions?

I'd say that the injector was wrong for your year donor.... you need the '703' Neon injector for earlier years. These red ones are for mid 90's , not your 89
