1985 Jeep CJ7 Build...

Hello all, been awhile since i've been on here. Well...Its time to start doing my "project" build.

There was a lot of body damage, BUT it was in the body shop for a year. They used all the original body panels from THIS Jeep, and used like little to nothing "bondo" type filling. I will post of the pictures when I find them. I want to do a 4.0L High Output motor set-up for it, but undecided if I should go Automatic, of stay with the 5-speed. hummmmmmmmmm

Here are a few pictures of what she looked like when I bought her.

RUST FREE!!!!! Thats also why I got it.

More pictures...I really need to take the body off now to bead blast the under carriage. All the holes were filled that had those snaps on the sides for the back cover, also any weird screw holes that weren't stock we also filled.

Primer done for the half that was worked on. I just need to bead blast the rest and get the body off and all that done. And I can tell you the guy that did it is a freaking perfectionist!!!!! He will NOT allow anything that isn't stock to pass through him. I was in AWWW when I saw the final primer done where he did the work.. it was like HOLY SHET!!!!

Well, back to the grind...Time to get this project finished! Its been over a year since I've touched the Jeep. At least MOST of the body work is complete and done. I'm still STUCK of which color I want to paint her.

Blue, Yellow, some classic car color?
