Here are all of my valve covers and oil pan painted. All I need now is clear coat.

Do it. Get the letters at Walmart. And it is not that hard to do just make sure everything is lined up. It will also save money.

Today I did the clear coat. And just ****ed it up. I got it on too heavy and it started to run so I got a rag and tried to clean it up and the rag stuck to the valve cover and got a bunch of fibers on it in the clear coat. Now one cover look like crap.

It sucks but I will just have to redo it later when I have a working sandblaster.

It's all about learning Trent. You're doing a fine job Buddy. Keep working at it. Don't get discouraged. There are more screwups to come! Ask me how I know!

On the clear... if it happens again, let it dry then sand it off.

Thanks I think I will just leave it and redo it later when my sandblaster is up and running so I can just redo all the paint a lot quicker.

And here is both together with clear on it. The f up is not too noticeable from a distance but I will know its there. But anyway.
