Sanded and primed my valve covers and oil pan.

i ordered a gasket set today so i can start and put my 304 back together which means i will just be that much closer to running it!!!!

I actually took the wire wheel to it and got the grease off then toon sandpaper and got everything else off. Pain in the *** but it's worth it.

Those primed pieces look mint. I'm always jealous of other jeepers my age who can do a ground-up build. Keep up the nice work, I wanna see some welding..

After aug6th I will be getting some 2 inch square tube and I will be building my own spare tire carrier with jack mount and jerry can holder.
Also about that time I will be welding up some tube doors for my Jk.

All that primer looks familiar

I'm glad I'm done with that for now. Looks great man! When you get that sand blaster up and going, you'll never want to touch sand paper again!

got engine paint today as close to original color as i could find. i will paint oil pan and valve covers later tonight. but for now homework

thanks. a lot of work went into those three pieces. not really looking forward to the block (greasy as hell) but i want it done right.

Today I got engine paint. I had to scratch up my beautiful primer job for the paint and on the valve covers I put on vinyl stickers of amc 304 then painted over them. Her are some pics of my work.
