Got my frame over to my concrete pad and started to take it all apart to take it and get it sandblasted. And then after that instead of powder coating how about hot dip galvanizing? Something different and unique.

That would look pretty cool! I wonder if a galvanizing place has a tank big enough. We used to sell corral panels to ranches that were huge and galvanized, so i guess its possible. How bout the yellow cadmium plating (golden color) seen on grade 8 bolts?

I like galvanizing because it will get the inside of the frame too.

All plating is a submersion process I think so it should get the insides, but galvanized is pretty cool, and probably a lot more realistic

My dad has some steel guys that can do the galvanizing. An the galvanizing is unique and it wouldn't chip like powder coat.

I've used AutoCad! Now I use solidworks. Are you going for sporty/fancy, crawler, wheeling style of driving?

Crawler, wheeling. So I need something really strong and one that will protect the winch I'm getting.
And this is the drawing of the rear bumper I made today.

You may consider nesting the hitch receiver inside the square bumper tubing or putting it above the tubing some how. Those things hanging low like that will get caught on everything

The Idea to have it so low is because my jeep will be lifted so much.

Except I don't have 150 for one. And I have already built that rear bumper last night.
