Got the new master cylinder on last night and drove it around topless, doorless, carpetless and seat less lol..



I am still having the same problem as the old cylinder though--the cap leaks when going over rough ground or steep hills?

I cut/pulled some trees down, and winched some others from some gullies.
Then hauled the chunks on the trailer:

Yep! Its pretty nice to have two jeeps; one to work on while having one to drive Or if both are apart I can drive my truck or bike.

Well I should be able to get the CJ sanded down some this weekend. Right now I am shopping around for a good HVLP paint gun. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Is that red really the primer. Looks like a final coat of paint with a shine to me.

Yep, that is the primer/filler. It is what they use in the body shops. (Not cheap) It is somewhat shiny so you can see the tiny imperfections that you need to spot repair before the final coat of paint.

im calling a double fail on you, one nice overspray on the tires. haha

also you could have just used regular primer( a lot cheaper) and used a guide coat, then wet sand it and its the same thing but a lot cheaper and not that much more work to do.

But looks good, what color you going with?

Dude, as much wear as those tires will see after I'm done, I could care less right now about the tires. Plus, if you take brake cleaner on a rag and wipe the tires down, it will strip all the paint off.

I decided to go with this primer since its a one step primer, and it shows the imperfections like the final coat would. I am going for a pretty good finish here, and money wasn't a big deal.

Final color with be AMC charcoal metallic. --I can't wait!!
