![]() ![]() I had to figure out how to get this darn horn button off with your guys help. Just pulls off. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thankyou very much. I enjoy it so much working on these two jeeps. My dad has a 1978 CJ-7 that I work on also. Keeps me really busy and out of trouble.

I am now 19 but 6!!! That's really cool. I was thinking about building a rock crawler buggy soon. ![]() Quote:
I thought of that too, but since I added those seat spacers my legs are more straight now. More comfortable too.

![]() I was looking at my pictures, I guess I should lengthen my stock rear swaybar links on the TJ. They are like parallel with the control arms! Looks like a cut, weld, and grind project......

Takes alot of work to keep it clean. All this darn salt in Ohio winters is killing me. I am glad I started with my CJ first. I think if I would have bought the TJ first, I would have been spoiled. When you drive a CJ, it is a totally different world. All jeeps wave to you, and you feel like the world stands still. Makes you feel good. You can get close to the same feeling in a Tj with the top down and doors off.
But coils are alot nicer and less tippy on the trails.

ET48, you said you were going to repaint the CJ correct? What color were you thinking of repainting it? I think it looks awesome black on black as you have it now, especially with the interior looking so damn clean. But its your jeep, and your plans are probably even greater than what it is now, so I can only imagine how BA its going to end up...

Here is what it would kinda look like: ![]() ![]() But I don't know for sure. I kinda like the black to but it is hard to keep clean, but it looks good muddy. The paint on it now is just a black quick spray paint job that isn't shiny at all. I am at a tossup. I need to paint it within a few weeks so post what color you would like and why?

Shoot, I missed this question at the very beginning. No I didn't do a frame up resto on the CJ. I wanted to, but now I am realizing that if I did that, I wouldn't wheel it. This is no show jeep here, just a weekend wheeler and weekly driver as my TJ is too. The interior is show qaulity in the CJ but the frame and engine compartment need some work.
