I am picking up a 13 2dr rubicon today in crush orange def want to follow this build how did you mind losing the factory warranty on it? I am debating killing the warranty with a terra flex la lift

Yes, I do realize I have made some major modifications to the Jeep. I would never expect an issue related to steering/suspension or the axles to be worked on under warrenty. I would fully expect an misc or engine/transmission problems to be covered under warrenty. I have read stories of peoples warreny being completely void due to modifications. I hope it never comes to that and I never have to find out.

Good luck to you on your build. I'll keep an eye out for it.

How fitting that the pallet is shrink wrapped in RED...Christmas all over again.

Still waiting on the Fox Shocks and Or-Fab spare tire carrier. But, I have more than enough to keep me busy for a while.

The rear D44 Axle got most of my attention today. Installed 4.56 ring and pinion and ARB locker (RD147). Note for anyone thinking of an ARB. The ring gear bolt holes need to be drilled out in the locker. They are sized for 7/16" bolts and the ring gear takes 1/2" bolts. I know some ring gears have dual bolt pattern but my Nitro 4.56's did not. Sorry, I totally forgot about pictures until we were about done.

I also got the rear Evo rock star skids installed. These skids protect the lower control arm mount in the rocks while also raising the shock mount by 1 1/2". They require some cutting and grinding but well worth the effort in my opinion. Great piece of hardware!

The day started off with strong ambitions. I started off trimming the pinch seams in the rear wheel well. About 15 minutes into the job my compressor took a dump on me. I ended up spending the entire day researching, shopping, purchasing, and installing a new air compressor. I leave tomorrow on a business trip so no more progress on the Jeep until next weekend. Picture below of the new compressor tho...

Has anybody found a source for some rattle can spray paint that is a close match to the Gecko Pearl? I'm thinking of painting the lock rings on the wheels. I know I can get them powder coated but I also know it won't last. I want to be able to touch up as they get rock rash. I can't seem to find a color even remotely close to gecko. Any suggestions???

Thanks, David M

You can also try a auto body shop. They will just mix up some using your paint code and put it in rattle cans.

Btw, I like what you've got going on/planed for this JKU!
