Just confirmed...My order will be shipping tomorrow. I should have everything by Friday Jan 11th. I plan to commit that entire weekend to the jeep, minus my son's basketball game Saturday morning. I hope to have it off the jack stands before leaving the following Monday on another business trip.

My Spod came in early. I got it installed ready to power some accessories. The install was pretty straight forward. There is already some write ups for the install so I won't go into detail. Love the clean install, not a fan of "hack jobs".

BTW...The lighting is really playing with the Gecko Pearl color. Looks nothing like in these pictures.

I'm also in the middle of customizing the grill. Stay tuned for the new look. I should have some pictures up tomorrow.

I'm gonna subscribe to this one. You're doing similar things to what I have in mind. It also helps that the color is the same too.

Current: '13 JK Wrangler - I've added stuff
Past: '01 TJ Wrangler

Here are some pictures of what I did to the grill. I painted the sidewalls of all the grill openings and installed gutter mesh behind grill openings. Overall I'm happy with how it turned out. My taping lines are far from perfect but you would only notice upclose. I did sand and prime before spraying rustoleum flat black paint.

Thanks! I had a couple nervous moments but it all worked out. I am very happy with the way it turned out. I just can't wait to get it rolling again. Parts can't come soon enough.

As far as steering, with the 37s do you need a steering-assist RAM type system, or will the stock system suffice?
Thanks

Depends on your needs and planned use. It would be difficult to say it is needed but sure is nice to have. I did not have it on my '07 JKUR and had the same 37" Toyo's on it. The gearbox was starting to leak when I sold it but it also had about 85K miles on it. So your stock system will work but hydro assist is supper nice to have. It will be added in the near future. I just have to save up before my wife has me sleeping in the shed.

Thanks! As much time as I spend in the garage, I try to keep it as organized as possible. With my two young sons and their toys it does get crowded at times.
