Pictures below of the latest additions. Factor 55 ProLink, Trek Armor seat covers with custom stitching, Dirty Dog rear cargo nets, grab handles, and mesh sun shade (front & rear).

Really like the seat covers! Amazing quaility and they look great. The green is not a perfect match but very close. Mitch at Trek Armor is great to deal with as well.

Planning a trip to Hidden Falls this weekend. Wheeling pictures to come soon!

Damn that looks great! I'll be in San Marcos/Austin this weekend and am debating whether or not I wanna go to the 4Wheel Parts customer appreciation day theyre doing on Saturday. I'm getting tires mounted to my Rubi MOAB wheels that are currently in Austin but otherwise I'll be in San Marcos. It depends on my Fiancees work schedule that day.

I was not aware of that. Is the event at the 4 wheel parts location or at Hidden Falls?

It's at their store in Austin. I know that's a bit of a drive but they're possibly going to have a winch giveaway. There's gonna be a lot of Jeeps there. I'll probably go as long as my Fiancée has to work lol it's going from 9:30 to 4 last I heard.

So I made it out to Hidden Falls this weekend. A couple thoughts of the first outing. First, I realize how much I miss having 4:1 low range transfer case. That has just made the top of my priority list. I really need to find a rubicon transfercase to swap.

With the beadlocks I ran 7 PSI tire pressure and was really impressed with traction. With all the rain we had last weekend, there was a good mix of mud and rocks. Any problems I was having was due to wet, muddy tires. At each obsticle I just had to spin the tires against the rocks a bit to clean them off and away we went. Much Fun!

I got some pretty good video going up "Axle Buster" which is a extreme level 5 rated obstical. I need to figure out how to post video...

Nice! I need to go back to HFs soon. My buddies go a lot and I haven't been since March (went in a Patriot lol). It's a fun time for sure.

The Jeep club had a Father's Day run out at Stillwaters Ranch near LLano, TX. Had a great time and the Jeep did great!

Thanks Frank! I haven't forgot about you. Just been extremely busy with work these days. I haven't even installed the rock doors. I still want to try something to retro a side view mirror on the drivers side rock door. I've just been running the full doors with the sun shade. It's been so damn hot I have the AC blasting away, would be worthless with the rock doors. I'll probably wait until Sept before putting them on for cruising around town. Spring and Fall is perfect for them here in South Texas. On the trail, I've grown to like no doors at all. With all the in and out it is so much easier and quicker.

As mentioned in an earlier post. The rear bumper took some fairly serious damage last time out in the rocks. Basically, the drivers side is completely loose just flopping in the wind. I don't want it to damage the paint/body so I like to call this a "justified purchase". I ordered a Poison Spyder rock brawler II. Should have it early next week.

So after Poison Spyder dropping the ball a couple times on shipping the bumper. I finally got it and had it powder coated. Began installation last night. I hit a snag when I went to install the rear facing LED lights that are optional from PS. These lights have a short wiring harness consisting of two wires. One black and one white which has a two prong plug at one end and pig tails on the other. Question being is the polarity reversible? How would I know what is positive and what is negative? Also, the plug can go either way on the back of the LED.

I plan to test it out on a battery after work today and see if it will work either way. I just thought someone might have been down this road before and could clue me in to save me some time.

Thanks, David M

So after speaking with Poison Spyder about the LED light question. They said the polarity was in fact reversible. Honestly, the person I spoke with didn't sound like he had much confidence as he was speaking with me. I decided I better test them out before proceeding. I did so with a simple 9 volt battery. They did work either way so I went ahead with the install.

I went ahead and spliced the two LED's wires together so I would only have two wires going up into the Spod.

I decided to string the wires through the frame rail to protect them while playing in the rocks.

Bumper staged on chair with wires pulled through the frame rail up to the engine compartment. Waiting for my wife to get home and help thread the bolts in place while I hold the bumper up. I loaned my father in law my floor jack and jack stands.

Finished!

Nice! Did you coat the connectors with dielectric grease?

Sure did...The LED's actually came with some already in the wire plug that goes on the back of the light. I added a bit in each of the compression terminals.
