I do not think there is any way you could dimple the tank enough when using reversed XJ springs.
There is just too much stretch.

This.

I did the bump mod and it was cool for about 3 minutes.

When i just did a 6in stretch and the 8.8 about 1/4 of the tank would have been on the diff.

Seems like he should've just brought the entire thing and put his stuff in it.

The waggy I got my d44's from on my 95. Had the frame rusted in half on one side and no floors at all.

Looks good.
What did you decide on the fuel tank?
Did you add a extra main leaf to the XJ springs?

fuel is still undecided.

the front leafs i added the main leaf from the wagoneer rear leaf which worked PERFECT!
the rear i added a xj rear main leaf. eventually im gonna put a waggy rear main leaf or s-10 main leaf.

I was looking all over ARTEC's site for axle swap kits and I came up empty handed. The only ones I have found are ruffstuff. I have a sterling 10.25 that will be my stretch axle.

the stuff dan makes is some very beefy stuff. it was well worth my money.
