Going to measure for front shocks here pretty quick. Still not sure how I'm going to do the rear so those will come later. The rear tires tuck right up in the fenders but scrub on the inside just a tad, the spacers I ordered Saturday will fix that.

Made some shock brackets for the front out of some 2" flat bar and 2" square tube (all 1/4"). Used and old shock I had laying around and the steering stablizer for mock up and temporary use.

looks like you need to upgrade your steering

do you get any bump steer with your track bar being so short?

Yeah, upgrade is definately in the future. It's not the first time it has been bent so I'll just straighten it out again and keep runing until then.

Haven't really noticed any bump steer with the setup.

Weld some angle iron to it?

I take it that's going to be a winch bumper? Going for a hidden winch?

Worked on the bumper today. Angled the bottom side, welded on some d-rings and painted it.

Might extend the sides later like this

I like the stubby look also, but in the past I've had trees jump out in front/behind of me. Just thinking of a little more protection of the headlights and corners.

Also a good choice; I've had trouble with jumping trees around here too.

So how do deal with 40's w/o hydro assist. I am in the process of buying 60's with 538's now .

So many people to thank here's a start to the list
Spidertrax, Yukon, rustys, warn, branik, PSC, advance adapters, Bad wheels, interco, essentially off-road. And many more

Most of all thanks too Ian Johnson and the xtreme off-road crew for all their work, and 4 wheel to heal for their part in it too.
