08 Sahara Unlimited -- My First Jeep

This is day one for me and my very first Jeep. Spent a couple of hours detailing it up and then got it dirty the next day. But I took a pic to "capture" the moment.

I took advantage of the remaining 08 rebates. They had a detonator yellow Rubicon or this one. This Sahara had 2200 miles since a finance manager was driving it, so I knew they would negotiate more on it. Plus being my first I didn't need the Rubicon yet. Got it below invoice and dealer holdback after negotiating and including the rebate. Then yesterday they announce "employee pricing plus". Oh well, I still love it!

Thanks for the replies! This forum is a wealth of info. My wife said I was obsessed since I have spent the last few days lurking non stop and making a wish list of to do/ to buy items.

Thank you NIUPonyBoy, I used to detail cars for extra cash. I still have the equipment, so the first thing I did when I brought it home was polish it then wax it. It's a nice feeling when you can make a vehicle look better than the dealer can!

Not entirely true. Use the [ img ] [ /img ] tags with out the spaces and your pics will show up. I don't have 50 post and my pics show up just fine.
