I also stretched the rear of the jeep a few weeks ago. Worked out to be a 2" stretch. After that my track bar hit my gas tank skid hard, so I drilled some new holes and moved my gas tank back 1/2". I also had to cut and weld a section of my gas tanks skid for clearnce. I plan on stretching the front as well. I have to wait till I do high steer tho because my tie rod and drag link will hit each other if I do it now. After the front is done I will have a wheel base of 97" +

Here is a pic with the rear stretch.

(pics like this make me want/ need 37s so bad! The 35s look small)

This is where I had to modify my gas tank skid for clearnce.

First off, great looking jeep. Same direction I want to go. How did the tummy tuck work with no body lift? MML? Explain? thanks.

Looks great dude! Why is the new drive shaft longer? or is the slip joint just compressed on the old one?

All I had to do was put a little dent in the bottom of my tub because the T-case was pretty close to hitting. Also after I put the TT on, my fan hit the plastic shroud so I put a electric fan in. And there is no MML.

But remember if i didnt have the RC long arm it would not have worked with no body lift. The mounts for the control arm are 3/4" thick, that is wat gave me the extra room.

The new drive shaft is longer because i stretch the rear 2" and I now have a tummy tuck, so the old lenght was to short. In the pic the the slip joint is compressed a little on the old one and is fully extended on the new one. It is only a couple inches longer.

Well I did some flexing today to test and check clearance. This is what I learned; I put a quick disconnect on one of my rear sway bar links. So now I will be disconnecting both sway bars. This helped alot, the rear flex's alot more. So after that now my rear coil falls out when flexed out. So I need some limiting straps. I need to relocate the rear upper coil mounts and I need to set up the rear bump stops properly. And with my rear stretch the rear tire is very close to hitting the body, so I have to figure out how I am going to fix that. In the front everything is perfect! no clearance issues and the bump stop will stop my tire about 1" front my tube fenders.

Here are some pics, this is all I have at my house to flex on The Jeep will still flex more than what you see in the pics.
