.06 Rubicon Build.

Hey everyone!

My name is Justin. This is going to be my build thread for the 2006 Jeep Rubicon I have recently purchased. My plans for the Jeep are never ending.
But they will start with a 6" rough country long arm (witch should arrive this week) 315/75R17 goodyear wrangler MT/R with Kevlar Tires, 17" Procomp rock crawler rims. I have built a rear bumper and tire carrier for it. I am almost finished building the front bumper. I plan on building rock sliders, skid plates, tube doors and a few other things for it also. I also plan on flat flares, winch, rhino liner interior, full custom build roll cage and more.

Here are some pictures when I first got it.

Some more recent pictures.

Here's the bumper I built getting painted.

Tire carrier getting ready for paint.

The rear bumper installed.

Here are the light mounts I build for my Hellas.

This is what I have done on my front bumper so far.

Tires and rims.

^ I replied to your pm.

I have the front of the lift in and on its own weight. The rear will be finished tomorrow night then just finish up some little things and the lift will be done.
I will post some pictures up when its done.

Can you measure those tires for me? Tirerack seems to lie of the size with air in it on 8 inch wide rims.
Bumpers look really good. Really like the tire carrier.

Loved the Rubi on the Moabs. I would have just put some underarmor on it and left it alone. But, I already have a big Jeep.

Can't wait to see the finished product.

Lift is finally done!
After many late nights it is done and I love it. It is an awesome kit, very smooth install, no problems.
Now I cant wait till Sunday to take it for it's first test on the trails.
I still have a few things to work out tho.

Here are some pictures. I have lots of pictures from the install, if anyone wants to see pictures of anything just let me know.

I took the time to paint my axles and also painted my frame.

The tires measure just under 35" on my jeep.
