Finally done traveling with work. Spent some time with a lonely Jeep in the garage.

Herculiner the tub. Came out kinda good considering I hate painting and this project similar.

While that was drying I installed the Tom Woods rear drive shaft. I'll have the rear adjustable control arms installed this weekend to take care of the slight drive line vibe.

After that I want to start to Herculiner the undercarriage. It'll be done in sections working my way down from the body, frame and then axels. It's going to take a while but the long term investment its worth it. The fight against all man rust. Even though outside the exhaust system there's little to no rust.

I decided to upgrade the sound system from the stock 7 speaker set up.

Went with the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X696 head unit. I wanted Bluetooth Audio Streaming and Phone.

Then the Polk db series Speakers for the 2 in the roll bar, 4 in the dash and the sub.

UPS will deliver new toys tomorrow....I'll do a before and after audio clip.

Installed Currie HD tie rod and drag link setup. The rig drives 100x better...should've done this a long time ago. Next up is the Metalcloak arms

My rig usually idles at 500 rpms, she has 81k on the clock.

Yesterday she started up and was idling at 1000 rpms and the engine was shaking. I was getting a P0300 Random Misfire and P2308 Ignition Coil C Secondary Circuit.

I changed out the plugs last summer about 8k miles ago with the NGK plugs. Had no issues since the install. So I decided to change out the plugs for the Autolite APP985. Started her back up, engine was still shaking, code P0300 was gone but still had P2308 showing up.

I did change out the Ignition Coil Sept last year. It was the Crown model #56041476AA, paid $113 via Amazon. I was pressed for time so I bought the BWD model #18240464 at Advance Auto Parts and paid $104.

So with the plugs and coil rail replaced she started right up, no codes/shake and shes back to idling at 500rpms.

Hopefully this will help other late model TJ owners.
