04 LJ Introduction

Hello All,

I wanted to introduce myself. I got my first Jeep last month: 04 Unlimited Hardtop Auto

Lurking as a visitor on this forum helped me make my purchase as far as what to avoid and look for. Thanks! I've had several 4x4's in the past from stock to mild bolt on builds. I could never pull the trigger to get a Jeep as I either needed a truck or a full size suv. I don't need a DD anymore so the time has come where I can justify it now

As purchased:

Lift- ~2" It has 2" coil spacers in the back and I thought it had 2" springs in front however they measure 12" at ride height and the best I can tell it may have a trim pack. Its been cold here so Ill have to check it again.

Shocks- Skyjacker hydros in stock mount locations

Tires- BFG AT 32x11.5 in need of replacing

Bumper- Heavy 4x4 steel w/ hitch and swing out tire carrier

The Plan:

A jack of all trades trail ready Jeep for N Colorado that I can take wheeling/ hunting/ fishing/ camping and still throw the keys to my wife or visiting family members. An overland style is what I had in mind with a max tire size of 33.

04 Unlimited: 32x11.5 BFG AT's
