yeah, it hangs a little low. but whatev. when i go up to 6.5" it'll fit it alot better. it's still higher than my diff. but it protects everything down there. got it mounted up, but the underside paint wasnt completely dry...so i have to sand and re-apply the bedliner to a couple spots. no biggie. it looks beastly mounted. got a hella busy day tho...fam lunch at noon, fix bumper by 5, go pack food boxes for needy til 10, then deliver at 730 tom morn. oi.

If it were me I would just take a cutting torch and blast the rad support off. That is WAY too low. Other than that it looks pretty good, a little different but i think its the rad support that throws it off.

Just my

Oh and your next project is 6.5" and 35's, dont bother with 33's at that height. You can fit 33's and 5.5" like I did.

Nice build, but agreed.

I would totally remove that lower support.

alright guys. thought long and hard (it makes me sad to destroy something i paid to have built) and i'm gonna cut the rad support off. i dig the bumper itself, and it looks great, but the rad support makes it look like a ****in' bulldozer from the front.

moony...can i run 35's at 3.73? bc re-gearing is not on my list of things to do anytime soon. and do you think ill have to trim for 35's at 6.5"? i figured theyd just fit. hope everyone's havin a merry xmas so far

Definately better now, I think the bigger tires will help with the look too. The small tires just make the bumper look BIG. How many bolts per side are you usuing?

I would do something to protect the radiator though, what about a peice of plate running from your bumper to the bottom of the radiator support as a skid plate. I bend that radiator support up to the point where it cracked one of the side tanks off my radiator.

3 bolts on the factory tow hook mounts, and then one on each fender. goin to tires today i think. just cant fit bigger tires until the lift is higher

so decided on how to handle the next stage...just gonna go with cheap tires for now until i get her up to 6.5 wo i can clear the 33's. gonna order a set of treadwright m/t's tomorrow and 1.5" wheelspacers. i figure those tires will do well until i can save up to life her up a little higher. let me know what you think...http://www.treadwright.com/p-63-265-...dog-m-t-e.aspx
