on another note....WHY THE HELL AREN'T YOU GOING TO ST. THOMAS????!!!! that's a once in a lifetime oppertunity...I would do it just for a couple months if nothing else.

if youve been there, youd understand. it's basically a 3rd world country, and they really hate whites there. like outwardly assholish to you. and my fiance' found out that she couldnt get back into the nursing program there, and she's already lined up to start here in august so her medical stuff would be all ****ed up and im not gonna ruin her education over a 6 month stint to fluff my resume'. oh, and i wouldnt be ablt to take a honeymoon to costa rica, oh, and i wouldnt get to do food/beverage for my own wedding, oh, and i wouldnt have my jeep. i wouldn't have my jeep. you see where im headed with this? there's more reasons, but im tired of typing about it. i worked in hawaii for a while and still have connects there, so we may move out there for a bit after she's done with school... still kinda makes me sad. but oh well, that chef is moving back here within the next year, and im sure another opportunity will present itself. besides, it's not what you know in this industry, it's who.

well with all those additional reasons, I can understand your reasoning. I didn't know it was like that there, that'll make me think twice about going there for vacation!

I got a buddy who runs a expo company out in Costa Rica, hes all kids of "adventure" themed things. if you are interested I'll find his website and send it on over

so i shopped for new wheel hubs this weekend. decided on timken replacements for now. im going to upgrade axle shafts at some point to chromoly, but that's not for a while. got the K&N FIPK installed as well. not a big fan of the noise (the deep sucking sound just reminds me of ricer too much) but i like the little extra pickup from a stop, and it's good for her to be able to breathe, so it'll stay. the fiance' isnt a big fan of full throttle with the intake, but hey, that's why it's MY jeep. gotta get an amsoil and pre-filter to protect it tho, since mud seems to mysteriously accumulate inside the engine compartment....

gonna try to get the zj res in soon, as i'm over not having windshield wipers....that's it for now. gotta get new front brakes and then back to the lift/tires. im holding off on new tires until i get shocks and coils bc now that the rear shock's goin bad, the upgrade will come sooner. oh, and my tax return went from about 2k last year to 400 this year. thanks mr obama

ill get pics up later

nice. ill check it out. looks killer, but we're gonna be way north of that. on another note...had an interview for a sous chef job today, went well, i think i nailed it. the hours are gonna be hellish, but it pays twice what i'm makin now on the roof which is worth more to me. now i can afford to do more to the jeep and move outta the condo into a house! booyah!

since my shocks and tires need replacin, should i just stay at the height im at now, do the tires and shocks, and wait a while to raise up, or what? here's a list of what i need to do, and what i want to do...
NEED
front brake pads/rotors
front hubs/bearings
shocks all around
tires
WANT
6.5" coils
belly skid
winch
new cb
