I made my own bumpers/tire-carrier and rocker guards in welding class in high school. Also a Harbor Freight 8000# winch.

By this point I also had a 1" body lift.

I painted some of my dash parts and herculined her. I sprayed it and it came out awesome. (this is CD player #2 btw)

Well it worked great until I hooked up the wires to the battery backward. It smoked a little wire inside the solenoid pack. I fixed it and went to reinstall and the screw on the main terminal for the motor broke off so now I need a new motor and it's sitting in my garage.

So then gas hit $3 per gallon and I was doing lots of driving at college and not much wheeling. I swapped the 33x12.50 MTs for some 33x10.50 ATs and I dropped the 4" suspension lift in favor of some custom air shocks that give me about 1-2" lift along with a 3/4" spacer in front to level her out.

Rubi flares and ditched the winch, stock tire carrier back on and I cut off the one I made.

So I ditched the body lift and got some 15x7 aluminum wheels with 31" Goodyear RT/S tires. Also some 03 mirrors. It's a pretty good daily driver now.

There's a ton of other mods but I don't have pics. D44, H4 lights, BPEs, LED tails, etc

I guess my Jeep has almost come full circle. Now, I like Jeeps to be small and light, the way they were meant to be. Sadly, I haven't been off road in years :-(
