01 Mall Crawler to Mountain Climber

05/22/17 Purchased a 2001 Wrangler Sahara with 4.0, Dana44, Hard Top and Doors. Bone stock and a little busted up.

Blinkers dont work. Found this nice connector. Have a replacement on the way.

I have a nice set of 5 35x12.5R20's sitting in the garage for my F-150. Was looking to see if I could put them to use on the TJ but decided its too much wheel.

First official mod. Smittybilt XRC front bumper. I know people have talked a lot of trash about them but it looks pretty dam nice to me.

Tons more to come. Lots of parts on order already. Will be running 35's on a currie 4". Will be doing a belly up as well. Currently leaning towards TMR. Probably going ARB's on 4.88s eventually. Looking for a HP30 currently if anyone has one for sell in Washington.

New multi function plug installed. Not to bad to install actually and now I have working blinkers. I replaced the relay and went to LED bulbs while I was at it.

Parts are rolling in. Today my rear bumper/tire carrier, rock sliders, body lift, motor mount lift, and replacement marker lights came in.

This weekends progress was tire carrier and body lift installed. Fighting rusted bolts has been a major pain. Still trying to extract one broken body mount bolt. Once thats out I can install the rock sliders and do the Motor Mount Lift in the next few days.

Today's Progress was installing the brown dog 1" motor mount lift. Luckily that went in pretty easily.

I mainly did the MML because im going to be doing a belly up in the future and figured I should just get it out of the way. At this point with a stock suspension its not really noticeable.

I'm diggin the bling on the hotwheels car back there lol. Nice work man! I have a friend who drives for UPS, he's a Jeeper and told me when he comes in, in the mornings and notices half his truck loaded with 4x4 parts.. He knows it'll be easier cause they usually are all going to one person! Love seeing the stuff delivered.

Yeah my youngest son loves stickers as all kids do and he pretty much hoards any stickers that come with 4x4 or atv parts. Thanks for checking my jeep out hopefully some day it will be as mean as yours.

Today I thought I would take a break but Just Empty Every Pocket stands true as I got a check engine light. Had to replace both my downstream o2 sensors to the tune of $80. I also decided to sell my hard top as I dont really need it and I have a guy coming for it tomorrow. Probably going to go and buy a winch as soon as he pays up.

Way better looking and running in only 2.5 weeks so far.

Last night I picked up a TJ Dana 44 setup with 4.88 gears, ten factory axles, arb air locker, disc brakes, and a poison spyder diff cover. Glad to find it for sale since 4.88 and arb was exactly what I wanted and saved me a chunk of coin. Still deciding if I should throw it in now so I can get my d44 up for sale or wait until I get a lift and do it at the same time. Of course I will have to run 2wd only until I get a matching front axle.
