Westin Step bars

Step bars for Cherokee XJ. Requires some drilling to install.

I had these professionally installed. They quoted me a bolt-in price, but ended up having to drill holes. Gives the XJ a different look, but I wouldn't recommend them for off-road use.

They do make it easier to wash the roof.

Good looking, not extremely functional off road and they are pretty heavy, but they dont scratch easy and shine up nice.

They are chrome/stainless nerf bars, and double tube front and rear bumpers. I got the smaller "shorter" bumpers. They arent functional in anyway. But they work for me.

Westin Step bars

I just put these on so my pregnant wife could get in and out of the Jeep. I got them for free from one of the guys in a local club, Durtyrok.

Look great, too early to tell about corrosion.

No drilling required so it was an easy install. thumbs up

My wife bought these because she had trouble getting in and out of my jeep. I think the look good enough to leave on because they are all black like the rest of the jeep. They do make it easier to load things into the roof rack as well. They seem to get encrusted with mud easier than one would think for a tubular step. All in all, they look pretty good and are functional as well.

Update. Six years of Maine winter road salt has not been kind to these bars. They were so eaten and rusty this fall that I had them sand blasted clean and repainted. The metal is sound however, so I still recommend them.

How's that Hope and Change workin for ya?

nice looking step bars, easy bolt-on installation, very sturdy and clean up easily. i really like the way they look. i have the chrome looking, s.s like, but i'm thinking of putting the black on, just a cosmetic preference.

Came on Jeep when purchased. Would have bought them myself if they were not already there.

Love my step Bars. For the price, I do not think these can be beat. I love the wide oval stance for a sure footed feel. I weigh in at 280 and can bounce around on these things and they don't give. Installation took about hour and half. Ive uploaded photo's in my profile of these step bars.
