Tough Stuff® Hood Rack™

Looking for a way to carry your shovel, axe, or Hi-Lift® Jack securely without intruding on precious interior space? How about a spare axle or driveshaft?

The Hood Rack™ carries either 1 or 2 of the following items:
Shovel
Max Ax®
Single or Double Bit Axe
Hi-Lift® Jack
Spare Axle or Driveshaft (under 2½" Diameter/30 lbs)

Heavy duty, all steel construction with black powder coated finish, all fasteners are Stainless Steel. The Hood Rack™ bolts to the factory hood hinges with special gaskets to protect the original paint. No drilling required.

Fits all Jeep® CJ's and Wrangler's® from 1955-Current models. Can be easily adapted to other vehicles by drilling mounting holes.

Please Note: Windshield will not fold down with the Hood Rack™ in place. Pictured tools not included.

If you are looking for a way to carry your Hi Jack or Shovel outside your vehicle this is a great option. I use my Jeep as a DD and have my kids in the back so space is very limited. This allows me to carry a jack for emergency use without eating valuable space inside. Not to mention, I think it looks awesome.

For installation, you have to replace the hood hinge bolts with new supplied bolts. Easy to do. Very solid mounting.

Solid build, good intstructions. Powder coated finish that lasts. The only tricky part is trying not to cross-thread the hood hinge bolts that they provide. No problem though.

Good quality and very durable, holds my jack or shovel/axe very well. Even has room to mount some low-profile lights if I wanted.

Need a place for your Hi-Lift jack? Get this. You can install lights on it too! Low profile, installs in minutes, very sturdy. I've never had an issue with it.
