Recommended? Yes
Comments: Installation was easy except for removing the old fuel cover. Wound up breaking the plastic tabs, but didn't need them. The door came with its own set.

Comments: The most difficult part of the installation that I ran into was getting the rubber seal of the original plastic housing - in the process I tore the rubber a bit

Comments: The fuel door is a great exterior accessory but pretty difficult to install for first timers.Be careful not to damage the outer body trying to install.Also be careful not to force door open,spring assembly is very delicate.

Comments: I've got the chrome version. I like it fine. No problem with the locking gas cap.
