The factory hood latches on the Jeep Wrangler JK allow an alarming amount of hood movement even at moderate speeds. Daystar Hood Wranglers upgrade the soft rubber on the factory latches with a heavy-duty polyurethane material that holds the hood securely in place. Installation is simple and maintains the factory look. No more shakes, no more flutter, and better peace of mind!

Pros A must have to keep the hood from bouncing around because of the cheap OEM hood latches
Cons non
Recommended yes

Comments: My hood bounced all over the place and I thought it was going to pop up when I passed a large truck on the highway. This solved the problem

Pros Price, Funtionality, Maintains original looks, install easy
Cons none
Recommended yes

Comments: Great replacements for the factory ones. Keeps the original look, easy to install, and the security of knowing the hood won''t flutter. I had two bust on my TJ at highway speeds, not a fun experience. So safety is the biggest positive.

Pros Easy install. Tight hold on hood. Cheap. Better than stock.
Cons None
Recommended yes

Comments: Took all of 10 minutes. Instructions were easy to follow. These are much tighter than stock and can be difficult to latch the hood. Perhaps they will stretch out over time but I like them how they are now, exactly like I wanted, firm latch on the hood!

Pros Nice tight hood after install
Cons None
Recommended yes

Comments: Easy installation, just don't crank down on the replacement hardware when tightening or the hood latches will be too tight to move. The Loctite will keep them torqued. Great, simple product.

Pros Everything. Holds my hood tight, no wind bounce, they look great and the hardware is tough.
Cons None
Recommended yes

Comments: This is one of the best bang for your buck mods I've done. My hood doesn't bounce when passing a truck or in wind, the hardware is strong, the rubber itself is strong and overall serves every purpose it's intended to. One of my fav low cost mods I've done.
