I saw an ad in a trucker magazine recently for Peterson's new LumenX line of led lights. I purchased a pair of these to replace the harbor freight led's I was running. They fit perfectly in the holes I had for the HF lights.

The biggest selling point for me was the integrated back up light. I have checked out other brands but didn't care for the way they implemented the back up light. The back up lights in these are small but pretty bright.

LumenX lights claim to be brighter and illuminate the entire lens better than Peterson's previous models. They are DOT approved and made in the USA. They are sold individually and include the mounting grommet and pigtail(s).

I took a picture of the tail lights with one LumenX and one HF light still mounted. It may be a little hard to see in the picture, but the Peterson light did appear to be brighter. I tested out the backup lights after dark and they are brighter than the stock backup lights were. They are not insanely bright, but they are decent.
