The Rallye 1000 lights are an older model of Hella that is no longer produced. Similar in design to the popular Hella 500s, but larger, they were used in rally racing for a few years.

They accept H2 bulbs, and the new Hella Black Magic lamps are based on the Rallye 1000 lights.

Price: $20.00
Pros: A lot of light output
Cons: none so far
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I bought 2 of these from a co-worker for $40 dollars including the wiring harness and stone shields. I put them up on the roof this week and they are great, easy to install once you get the wiring through the firewall and have plenty of light.

Comments: This is the FF1000 series. I put 130 watt bulbs in. Seem to be a good long range light. Although, I really don't have another point of reference

Hella Rallye 1000
Pros: Looks great, stone shields effective, driving lamp beam pattern
Cons: Difficult to locate, replacement parts unavailable.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I selected these lights because they look almost identical to the Hella 500s, but are deeper, and have a larger diameter lens (7.5).

Because they are a discontinued lamp, I had to get a set from a fellow in Australia, and make a 12ga harness to handle the 100w bulbs.

They accept 100w H2 bulbs without a problem.
