Does what it says it will do - keep rain out, easy to use and store, durable, waterproof, etc.

The bad:

I've found that if enough rain collects on the top (e.g. rains in morning, sits until the next afternoon), the fabric will begin to stretch which leads to water pooling in front driver/passenger areas; which in turn, eventually creates MASSIVE pools of water in the front seat area. Trying to empty that water is no easy task and will inevitably leave the interior of your rig soaked...

Long story short - the product does a great job of keeping your rig dry should you find yourself exposed during a rain storm. That said, be sure to sweep off any standing water as that will eventually serve as a bird bath for large native birds...

Comments: Bestop Trail Cover Review!

I picked up the BESTOP Trail Cover last week. had a beautiful weekend coming up and wanted to do a roadtrip without doors. I knew there may be one storm over the weekend so i packed the Trail Cover. It working awesome. I have the 4 Door Ruby and the Top went on in 5 Mins. Hooks under the rails at the back like the soft top, has (2) straps on each side with adjuctable hooks and (2) straps at the back with adjustable straps for either side of the spare. The front just goes over the winshield and you can put your wipers over it.

Well it hammered down rain with wind on Friday nite at the top kicked ***! I put it on over the soft top rolled down but no doors. It completely covers the door wells. The material is waterproof and a little stretchy which made for a snug fit. The only thing I noticed is that when tight, the points of the soft-top bows at the back were pretty sharp. They did not pierce the top but I may throw a towel or t-shirt on them before install next time.

I do not usually pump up anyones products but this is a must have for camping or roadtrips whre you may get a little rain and doors are off. The whole thing folds into a carry bag about 10"x10"x15".

I just wish I didn't have to take it up the hoop to ship anything to Canada.
