Product Information

MSRP: $150.00
Average Price: $105.88
Manufacturer: JKS
Recommended?
Yes: 108 / No: 1

The B1 Body Lift by JKS offers an economical solution to tire clearance problems, without affecting center of gravity, spring rate or steering geometry like suspension modifications. Unlike universal designs commonly used by our competitors, JKS B1 Body Lifts are specifically designed to work in conjunction with the OE body mounts.
Our B1 Body Lifts actually provide 1.25" of additional tire clearance, as opposed to the standard 1" provided by other manufacturers. The Jeep® specialists at JKS have found this to provide the ideal amount of tire clearance without exceeding the safe working parameters for severe off-road use. Furthermore, no modifications are required to the fuel tank, air conditioning, radiator, or brakes, unlike taller body and suspension lifts.
Manufactured from premium Dura-Thane™ poly material with a hardness of 94 durometer, JKS B1 Body Lifts are designed to easily exceed the demands of four wheeling.

Price: $125.00
Pros: Easy Install
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Installation of body lift took about an hour, installation of final bolt (of four) for Motor Mount lift took about three hours! Although it proved to be a difficult installation, I consider the Motor Mount lift to be necessary. No modifications need to be made to the fan shroud or transfer case bracket.
Air tools were a big help, especially the low profile air ratchet wrench.
A big block of wood (6"x6") and floor jack were also helpful in the install. Front snubbers were simple using the weed wacker string through the headlight cavity and a bit of WD40.
Post install, the Jeep was noticibly smoother over minor bumps.

Price: $130.00
Pros: Gives just a little more lift.
Cons: none yet

Comments: I installed this to give myself a little extra room for a future tt. I also broke a motor mount and wanted a MML so I could take out my T-case drop. Install took about 30 min by myself.

Price: $115.00
Pros: Quick and easy clearance
Cons: T-case linkage binding
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The instructions say that no t-case drop bracket is needed when installed with a 1" MML. My linkage was binding and couldn't get it into 4-Lo. I installed the drop bracket so that the linkage was in the middle hole. Still binding and I can get it into 4-Lo, but it pops out as soon as I move. I have an Advance Adapters bracket coming to mount it to my transmission, hopefully that'll fix it.

JKS 1.25" Body Lift
Price: $124.99
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Easy install, socket wrench, sockets, and about 2' of extensions will do the job. Don't forget the jack. I had to adjust the transfer case shifter linkage with the included brackets. I used the kit with the JKS BMML to keep from having to adjust the radiator shroud.
