The Super Swamper TSL with the patented TSL tread design offers unsurpassed traction under the toughest of conditions. Nine years of developing and testing produced the ultimate tire tread design. Short, intermediate and long massive lugs are uniquely arranged, each proportioned and spaced to bite quickly and to self-clean rapidly. The overall design gives today's on-and-off-road driver a tire that is both directionally and laterally stable; unmatched in performance. This is an extremely aggressive design that requires strict attention to air pressure when run on the highway.

Comments: Wonderful tires offroad but they come with the loud noise and the rough ride but if you are serious about offroading then the noise and ride don't matter. Never stuck with them on.

Comments: As "dancing shoes" these things rock. Horrible for a DD, but if you can run dedicated off-road tires and either swap out for trail runs or trailer your rig, it's hard to go wrong w/ these.

Comments: Great looking tire with the most agressive lugs. Cannot balance with lead weights, I use Equal brand dynamic balancing powder. Equal is used on many big turck tires to balance as the tire wears.

Pros: works great in mud and sounds good on the road (i like road noise)
Cons: stupidly narrow tread, 1 1/2 inches of tire sticking out past the tread on each side
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I would recomend this tire as a good mud tire.

But in a 36 12.50 15 radial run like hell if you do any rockcrawling because the sidewalls are stupidly vulnerable.

Tire is shaped like this _ ////\_ (best I could do to explain it)

Pros: awesome traction in the mud
Cons: digs to much for sand, loud, wanders around on the highway
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I have ran these Bias ply TSL's in a 33x12.5 and a 36x12.5. These tires run true to size, the sidewalls are thick, and the tire itself is heavy. I have ripped through logs and roots and never had a problem. I don't rock crawl at all, but I play in the sand alot.

In the sand the 12.5 ones will get you around just fine, if you air down alot like 5-8lbs. How ever when you start climbing tall dunes and you start loosing wheel speed, these will stop climbing and start digging. When they start digging they won't stop I use these in my 4 banger TJ, I think a rig with a V-8 would do alot better with them, the 4 banger just doesn't have the power to keep the tires spinning.

I rated these tires a 6 because they handle so poorly in the rain, ice, and snow. In the mud they are a 10, and the sand I would rate them a 4. If your jeep isn't a daily driver and you see rocks and mud I would highly recomend them. If it's a daily driver though I think there are some better options.

Interco TSL
Price: $200.00
Pros: Excellent traction off road
Cons: Quite loud on the road, chunk very easily
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I had these tires on my CJ5 and they performed flawlessly. Wasnt my daily driver so I didnt have to deal with all the road noise all the time. If your looking for an agressive looking tire, and excellent traction off road you cant go wrong with the TSL.
