Interco Tire SSR

The SSR Series of Super Swamper Radial/TSL tires is the next generation of light truck radial tires. This series has many of the OEM sizes for Sport Utility Vehicles and 4 Wheel Drive light trucks who do not want to modify their vehicles but still need the performance of Super Swampers. The design incorporates a slightly tighter tread pattern, siping for wet pavement traction and icy conditions, greater sidewall protection with traction features and is quieter running

I am very surprised by how quiet these tires turned out to be. The Ride is smooth and traction in great in snowy and icy conditions as well as wet roads.

The traction capabilities of this tire in the mud is phenomenal I have yet to find an area where they do not exceed the standards that I expected of them.

I have 3000 miles on them now and wear is evident but not too bad these tires should see at least 30000 miles

I have the 31x10.5x15's on my jeep and they measure larger than 31" in fact they measure larger than the 31.5 that Interco claims.

I would recommend this tire to anyone that is looking for a mud tire on their D.D

EDIT: the price I paid for these tires was in Canadian funds so dont let the price deter you

These tires are tough! They not only look tough, but can take a beating. They drive awesome on flat roads, but want to follow grooves on country roads. Nothing scary though, just jerky. It's to be expected with such a deep lug tire.

Power loss is not noticeable with the 31x10.5x15 variety. They fill a 2 inch lift perfectly. I have a 2.5 inch lift and would have gone with 32's if I had the money for rims, possible regear, and possible beafed up rear axle. 31's look perfect on factory rims.

I see no need to buy a Mud Terrain tire. This tire does everything MT's can, PLUS killer looks, traction and durability! Even if SSR's don't last as long as a Mud Terrain, I'll still take the SSR! Highly Recommended!!

I am on my second set of 35x12.5x15 SSR Radials. The first set lasted 65,000 miles, no lie. They were very quiet on the highway up until the last 5,000 miles.

Best mud tires, tenacious grip in mud or on the rocks. Very noisy.
