Pros: Look cool, great in the snow and wet.
Cons: Louder than expected.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: So far so good, get lotsa questions about the tread design. Only got about 8k miles on them so far and doesn't seem to have lost much tread at all and I drive highway a lot.

Comments: I was recommended these tires from a guy at NorthRidge. I was debating between the KM2s and MT/Rs. MT/Rs won because I've read the KM2s suck in the Ice.

Price: $400.00
Pros: Very flexible and good offroad
Cons: bad on ice
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Does great offroad on snow, mud, shale, rocks, dirt, logs, etc. Moderate road noise, but not louder than the engine most of the time. They seem to be wearing well and they withstand the elements well skidding off rocks. Great buy (price is all 5 used)

Price: $200.00
Pros: Excellent traction on and off road in a variety of conditions (snow, mud, rock, gravel, sand, asphalt).
Cons: Mediocre to poor wear, somewhat noisy.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I've had these on my lifted XJ for a few years (32x11.5R15). They are an excellent high performance tire and have provided me excellent traction in a variety of off road conditions. The rubber compound is somewhat soft, so they also grip the road even when wet. I will only get about 12-15K miles of of them though and they are a bit noisy. They are excellent performers though.

Price: $1,000.00
Pros: Not too loud, nice climbing tread on outside with A/T tread on inside, Solid drivability on the street
Cons: Heavy and expensive
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Because the tread is different ensure when they are install it is done correctly. The tires are nicely labeled inboard and outboard, but somehow my mechanic installed them incorrectly.
Tires work great on the street and do not hydroplane easily on the highway. I drive the jeep daily and have run into no problems. The jeep actually drove better when I put the 35 x 12.5 on over the 31 x 9 Silent Armor. Honestly the MT/R w/ Kevlar are not much different in noise over the silent armor.

Price: $220.00
Pros: Excellent tire with great grip offroad Good tire wear on the street Not too noisy Tire sidewall flexing great when aired down
Cons: no siping little more expensive than some competing brands
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I really like these tires and I'm glad I finally put them on my Jeep a few years ago. I've been through 4 different sets of tires before these since 2001 and these are my favourite so far.

Price: $220.00
Pros: MT/R w/ Kevlar. 33x12.5x15. Aggressive tread. Not really loud at all on the highway. Smoothed out my ride. Balanced out pretty good once we got the older guy at Sam's to do it instead of the first idiot.
Cons: Expensive.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I have only taken them out a few times but they did great in some sand and mud. I haven't hit any rocks yet. Nice and quiet rolling down the highway. Look great to. People are always askin to trade. haha.

Price: $1,000.00
Pros: Durable, puncture resistant, great in all conditions thus far.
Cons: Hydroplane some as expected with MT's.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I was a little hesitant in buying my first set of "Mud Tires" (yes, I know MTR's aren't technically Mud Tires). But after some real off roading, I will never go back to All Terrains. The MTR's are a true "All Terrain" tire in my opinion. Durable as ever and have done just fine in every condition I have put them in so far. They are loud, usually wear ear plugs above 70mph on long trips. But there are much louder tires out there and I expected that with making the switch to MT's. I personally run Nokian's in the winter so that hasn't been an issue. I would reccomend these to anyone unless they were going to be spending ALL their time in the mud as I have been told there are better Mud specific tires out there.

(They are the old style MTR's btw).
