The Wrangler DuraTrac is Goodyear's Commercial Traction light truck tire developed for the drivers of multi-purpose, full-sized pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles looking for tires that play hard and work harder. The Wrangler DuraTrac is designed to be a versatile tire offering off-road competence in dirt, gravel and mud with on-road composure in dry, wet and winter conditions.
Wrangler DuraTrac tires feature a rugged tread compound that helps resist tread block chipping, chunking and tearing, especially during heavy loading and towing applications. Its symmetric tread design combines large shoulders and highly angled center tread blocks to enhance stability and traction in dry and wet conditions. Self-cleaning, stepped shoulder blocks, zigzag sipes and Goodyear's TractiveGroove Technology at the base of the circumferential grooves provide thousands of biting edges to enhance traction in deep mud and snow. Wrangler DuraTrac tires feature a rim lock that helps prevent wheel slip throughout the life of the tire and offers a built-in rim protector to help protect wheels from accidental damage on- and off-road.
Wrangler DuraTrac light truck tires are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol to identify they meet industry severe snow service standards. Wrangler DuraTrac tires are designed to accept optional #16 metal studs to enhance ice traction.

Price: $214.00 Pros: self cleaning, dirt slinging Cons: none Recommended? Yes
Comments: I picked these up simply because of how they looked. Never read any reviews. I dont wheel my WJ too hard but I found myself in a pretty deep mud hole by mistake and they helped me get out with no real trouble. Awesome grip on any surface.

Price: $200.00 Pros: Work well offroad Cons: None Recommended? Yes
Comments: These tires work well offroad and offer lots of traction. They also clean out well and don't get caked up very often. Road noise is not too bad either. A good all-terrain for my DD.

Price: $823.00 Pros: Cheaper than KM2s and just as good if not better in snow Cons: None that ive found Recommended? Yes
Comments: 33x12.5x15 Throws mud and snow wonderfully and look great! Being 19 thats all that matters. On a serious note, Dry and wet on road traction is very good, off road the only thing that holds them back is the open diff. On road they are not noticeably loud (w/ a soft top) i would highly recommend them, been on the highway for over 1000 miles and still look brand new!

Price: $242.00 Pros: Long lasting very predictable tire Cons: absolutely none Recommended? Yes
Comments: Some of the best all around tires I have ever owned. I bought a set of 315 75 R16 E rated tires and studded them for Tahoe winter duties. So far I have 18K on them and the studs are just now starting to stick out of the rubber. Very solid on road performance, quiet and handling/manners in all conditions are excellent.

Comments: I bought these tires used, and couldn't be more impressed. I have been absolutely shocked at their performance on the road, and was blown away at the performance off road. Great in ice and snow, solid in mud.

Price: $740.00 Pros: on road, good all-around Cons: wear rate, noise, snow Recommended? Yes
Comments: Paid $740 after a $60 rebate deal they had going on at the time (March 2012), and after I got the local Goodyear store to match some online pricing.
I am glad I waited for it to snow to review these tires. I replaced my worn BFG AT KO's with 31" Duratracs in March. Everyone on this forum told me they did everything the BFG's did plus some. In my experience... that is completely false.
They do much better than the BFG's in mud and soft stuff. They handle on the road pretty much the same, maybe just a little less grippy on wet pavement. They DO NOT do as well in hard packed dry dirt, or packed or light snow. They have siping, but it isn't as grippy as the BFG. We got a few inches of snow last night, and I was so excited to try them out I went out after midnight just to be able to drive on the streets before the plows came out. At standard (35psi)pressure, they sucked. All over the place. Dropped the pressure... still spinning and sliding. They may do better in deep snow, offroad (my BFG's did fine there too), but on light snow, and then packed snow, they weren't grabbing for me.
They're also a bit louder on the road than the BFG, and they are not wearing nearly as well. I had 2 tires knifed a month ago, and had to replace a pair. So 2 tires have about 5K more miles than the other two, and I can see the difference between the pairs. I measured the difference at a little over 2/32". I've made an effort to keep them rotated, balanced, and aligned because I never did that to my BFG's after the lift, and it ate them.
Overall, they're still a good tire, and I would recommend them if you actually venture off pavement but they aren't living up to the hype I was given about them. They make a great tired for daily driver/ weekend warrior.

Price: $812.00 Pros: Price, good looking, quiet on the highway for the aggressiveness of the tread Cons: Don't have any Recommended? Yes
Comments: I paid $812 including mount and balance for four 31x10.5 15"
I have yet to run these on icy roads or in the mud or snow but love the aggressive look on my Jeep. So far very limited wet road driving but what i have done they grip well. They are very surprisingly quiet on the highway for how aggressive the tread is.

Price: $836.00 Pros: Wicked looking tire. Drives nice, hugs the road in all weather conditions. Cons: Thought they'd be a little bit better in mud. Recommended? Yes
Comments: Great ride on any dirt trail or road. Offroads and grips well over anything in your path. About to try some snow this weekend and I am sure I'll plow right through it! I've had these tires before on a Durango and they got the job done in the snow. Now they are on my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ. I highly recommend anyone wanting this for just your snow tires, or your all season tires. I suggest them to all of my friends.

Price: $825.00 Pros: Very affordable, light tire, look great, work well in sand and mud Cons: after only one time rock crawling with them they seem to have wore significantly. Recommended? Yes
Comments: Over all I like these tires. I would buy them again. Great price and traction. Only thing bad is that they wear easily over rocky terrain but then again most tires do.
