I bought these in a 315/75R16 D load size after running 255/85R16 on my LJ Rubicon. I found a deal in town that offered these for $880.00 installed out the door. Right away I noticed the weight gain. I understand why these are so heavy because the sidewall was twice as thick as the KM2's were! On the road they are very quiet and track nicely down the road. They rock in the rocks but suck in mud. The only downfall is that the tread isn't grooved to the carcass, but rather becomes slicks after you get to about 1/4" tread. My attempt to fix this issue is to groove the tire to aid in keeping traction but to also make it a bit more aggressive. This of course voids the 50k mile warranty that Falken offers. All in all, if you're looking for a strong sidewalled AT that is quiet and will last when you're on a tight budget, then I suggest these.

*15k Mile Review*
A little over 15,000 miles have been put on these tires so far. I changed the recommendation from Yes to No with how terrible these tires are. After 15k miles, I've had to replace 2 tires for being out of round and still have balancing issues with the remaining tires. After coming to the conclusion that I will be replacing these with something different ASAP, I grooved the Wildpeaks with a 3/8" tire groover to increase traction. Seemed to help and didn't increase noise. The sidewalls have held up to AZ sharp rocks but the tread doesn't seem to grip like it did when new.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE TIRES

15k miles in and I'm ready to change these out

They came on my jeep and by the time I got them they where pretty worn. They've done alright for what I do. I'm not going to buy them again because all I mess around in is mud and they just aren't good enough in the mud.

So far so good. They handle well on wet, not so great on ice.
