Comments: The very BEST tire for the DD and the weekend warrior!!!! The wear reliability of this tire is absolutly AMAZING! Off road, can easily keep up with BFG MT's and other like it. Low noise and Looks GREAT!!!
Comments: Great tire! The tread isn't overly aggressive so it still handles great on the road, but at the same time works awesome off-road. I picked mine up second-hand from my brother and they will need to be replaced soon, but they have worked great for me. Great in mud, alright in sand, and good on hills
Comments: Since today i drive them for more than 5000 km,i found them excellent on wet roads, even with heavy rain. Very good also in deep snow and snowy road. Not bad in mud, good on the gravel. The only condition where these tires need a bit of attention is icy road.
At the end i can say that i am completely satisfied of my Cooper Discoverer ST.
Wear extremely well, have strong sidewalls, perform very well in snow, ice, mud, and relatively quiet.
Cons
Hard to find Cooper Dealers by me.

Comments: I have these tires on several vehicles ranging from my TJ to a 1 ton pick up truck. They're the premier hybrid tire. From the 5 sets that I've owned I averaged 50-55k on a set, and that is through trails, towing have loads, and competive sled pulling. These tires are tough as nails. I can't picture a better do it all tire, they're the ideal daily driver tire. I love them, they're by far my favorite tire on the market.
My last set was $585.oo for a set of 4 285/75/16's
good tire. great traction in mud. really good in snow
Cons
very little wet road traction. its a snow tire

Comments: i bought the discoverers because i was told that they were a decent all terrain tire. i didnt do enough research and came to find out they are actually snow tires. they even have little stud holes. all around a decent tire though. make a lot of noise going down the road. dont go above 90 though.
horrible on wet reads you slip all over the place, I came close to spinning into a ditch and I did a 360 going 20 mph, tires only lasted 4000miles before they kept going flat and dry rotted, horrible in all weather condition and way over price for crap tries.
These tires have performed well on both vehicles I have put them on. Great in snow and mud, as well as using on the highway.
Cons
A little noisy on the highway as they have open tread pattern but if you want traction thats the price you pay.

Comments: These tires have performed well on the 2 vehicles I have put them on. Where I live, northern Alberta, Canada, we recieve lots of snow and have ice on the roads about 5 months of the year. These tires run good in the snow and grip well on ice. I have only used them on my Jeep for 1 winter but have used them on my diesel truck for 4 years. They work the same for both vehicles. The tires worked good in mud last fall for my Jeep, looking forward to giving them a try this spring. When they wear out on either vehicle, I will be putting the same tire on again as why change if they work well. I definitely recommend these tires to anyone.
Incredible looking, very quiet, aggressive tread design. I actually have the ST Maxx
Cons

Comments: I love the tire. it looks very aggressive and the side walls are very nice looking. It rides extremely nice and is very quiet. It is a 3 ply E rated tire.
Comments: I puchased these Cooper ST's a couple of weeks ago. I was running some mudders on my YJ and they were on their last leg. The first thing I noticed is how smooth the ride was. Second was the low noise that they make. They do make some noise, but not like mudders. The tread pattern IMO is a aggressive pattern for an AT type tire. The pattern almost reminds me of the older Sears Roadhandlers. I ran those on an old 4x4 years ago with outstanding results. The Cooper ST's handle the road great and have had them in the rain. They handled good in the rain. I have not tested them in winter driving, but will soon get the chance as winter weather is arriving soon. I will be testing off road soon too. I'll re post with some more details as I get to break these puppies in.
Aggressive grip, low road noise, high load rating,
Cons
Softer rubber for better off road grip wears more easily than a/t or road tires

Comments: Got the 285/70R17 Cooper St Maxx's as an upgrade from the Golden Fury's the dealer put on 2 years ago. Love the way they look and feel on the road. They're performance off road is superb for the NW. Aggressive sidewall digs through the mud and big lugs spit it out. Performed amazingly in the wet winter and when it was dry out the rubber warmed up quickly and gripped everything I threw at it.
Comments: Five LT265/75R16 Discoverer S/T Maxx:
Versatile, Quiet and so far good wear, but I have only 3800 miles on them. No problems in mud or snow. I didn't have any issues with these tires driving under wet and light ice conditions during the winter, or long distance traveling. When the time comes I will get them again.
Comments: Discoverer ST's are the good poor man's aggressive tire. Lasts long and stays true better than MT series.
