Making one of the world's best mud terrain tires even better was the goal of the new Mud Terrain KM (Key on Mud performance) and based on their test results this new entry is a success. Better off road performance has been achieved, especially in mud traction and slick rock conditions. Better manners on the road and more even wear have also been achieved. Add to that a wider selection of sizes...all the way to 37 in diameter...and you can see why this new tire is a great success.

Pros: Nice aggressive tire w/o a lot of niose.
Cons: Not big enough
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I bought these tire thinking they would be big enough, but I now think I should have gone with 35's. They are a great tire either way though. I've crawled over rocks and through sand and mud w/o problem.

Pros: Great look!
Cons: Poor traction!

Comments: These tires don't do well in mud at all. I'm switching to Swamper TSL Radials as soon as I save up for them!

Price: $125.00
Pros: They definitely do what you think they'll do.
Cons: Same as all big tires: Not so fun on the streets, and wear quickly.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Hard tires to get balanced, but stay strong against harsh conditions. Quiet on the road as well.

Pros: They look great grip good in mud haven't gotten stuck yet.
Cons: None that I know of.

Comments: Nice tires I got them for free so I don't know how much they were but they grip good in mud and don't vibrate on the road to bad.

Pros: good aggressive tread sidewall strength
Cons: after 4 years there is some chunking
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Got these at CostCo just before the KM2's came out.
They've been good to me and still have LOTS of tread. I got some black-wall only ones for my truck from TireRack a year later, and they wore out FAST and have already been replaced. But except for a couple tread blocks that have chunked a little, these are still 80-90%.
Been to Barrett Lake, Rubicon, Sunrise Pass and all over Nevada hunting and they always just work.

Price: $500.00
Pros: Good traction, aggressive styling
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: These tires have worked great for on-road and off-road conditions. On-road they are a little noisy, which is to be expected from a tire with aggressive tread. One tire is wearing faster than the others, but it's most likely due to my rig being out of alignment.

Pros: Agressive Tred, Looks awesome
Cons: None yet
Recommended? Yes

Comments: So I had my friend George at Morris 4X4 help me pick these tires. The tires were everything I was looking for. Aggressive tred with decent tred life, not too noisey running down the highway. Multi directional tred so I could have black walls. So all in I am pleased with my purchase.

Price: $1.00
Pros: Great on road, easily balanced, and look great.
Cons: Could be better off road, a little noisy at highway speeds.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I traded four 33" Super Swamper TSL's for four 35" BFG Mud Terrains. The difference on road was amazingly better. The difference off road was amazingly worse. They're a great tire, but I was getting used to the TSL's on the rocks. My Jeep sees more highway miles though, so next time I will go with the Super Swamper Trxus M/T.

Price: $230.00
Pros: road noise is low for such tires I think. Awesome traction on everything that I have encountered.
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I do a lot of highway driving back and forth from school on breaks and i think that they run pretty quiet and they have taken me through pretty much everything that I have thrown at them. I think that they are a perfect well rounded yet aggressive tire for someone like me who has a daily driver and still likes to be able to have nice amounts of capability and fun.

Pros: nice onroad maners
Cons: to soon to tell

Comments: seem to be good , but i havn't had them long enough to try them in the snow. i wasn't impresed with my last bfg all terains (in the deep snow)
but i have had a similar design that worked well, time will tell. well we have had over 200 inches of snow this winter. and i havn't been stuck yet. goes better than my 01 f250 diesel with high dollar mich's

Price: $145.00
Pros: Good all around mud/snow tire
Cons: Noisy, not a great rock tire
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Needed a decent set of mud/snow tires for a reasonable price. Local Tire Company had them on sale. Happy with them in everything but slickrock, where I think an at would be better.
