Price: $1.00
Pros: have lasted 18 years
Cons: they're 18 yeas old
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Put up with 18 years of use, I'd say that is quite good They are aluminum and oxidize easily, but don't rust. I use oven cleaner to get the oxidation off and then wd-40 rubbed on via rag to prevent more.

Cons: None

Comments: 3 of the stock rims are good, 1 has some scuff damage. Looks like someone tried to use a scouring pad or sandpaper to clean it. I will be painting them all black, so no worries.

Price: $150.00
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Not too flashy
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I have several sets of stock Wrangler/Cherokee Sport type 15 inch steel wheels. I have refinished two sets with nice Rustoleum hammered finish black paint -- they actually look very sharp now.

I am usually able to pick up a set of the sport style steel wheels on eBay for anywhere from $75-150 including shipping, if I shop around right.

I even refinished the crappy stock 6 spoke "wagon wheels" that came with my non-sport XJ. Those wheels, while very stupid looking in silver, look freaking awesome painted black with a set of the Kumho KL71 mudder tires. And to think I was going to throw those wheels away.

Price: $40.00
Pros: Used Cherokee Sport rims /w center caps. Hey, my stock ones were RUSTED and SPRAY PAINTED and worse yet the paint was bubbing and looked nasty. Got a set of BFG's on them for the price, about a year and 1/2's worth of tread left. Not too shabby.
Cons: They're used but decent
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Got at a local U-Pull it junkyard. Got the job done, and looks pretty respectful compared to the crappy rusted-painted ones that were on it.
