2 Semi Boxed 6x9's under the back seat of the XJ. Rattle Rattle.

They, in my opinion, have a deep bass, and good mids. Don't look for high's in these speakers.

Mine are run through a 444w amp, which is also pushing 2 8" subs, all in series. The 6x9's used to run off the receiver, and the high's were a lot clearer without the LPF.

Comments: Speakers fit perfectly into the 6.5 inch holes in the doors. Look great through the door mesh, and sound amazing. You haven't heard your radio until you've heard it through a good 4 channel speaker. For the price, which is just a little above pioneers, how can you go wrong? Mine were $47 per set of 2.

Comments: One of my front door speakers was crackling so I wanted to get a new pair of speakers for the front doors that weren't overpriced but where still an upgrade. These sound better than stock and were relatively cheap!

Comments: I bought these speakers because I the stock ones on my rig were past shot and wanted new speakers on a small budget. the head speakers installed with absolutely no problems at all! but the front speakers were a different story. I bought the speakers and tried putting them in to find that only one screw can be used with the new brackets. I found I would either need to but new mounts or get creative. I got creative. i took the stock speakers, cut out the magnet and tore out the old speakers from the brackets. the Sonys were a perfect fit. I screwed them into the bracket, wired them up, screwed the bracket/speaker assembly in, and was rocking in no time. All in all, I would say these speakers aren't bad at all. If you need something on the cheap and don't mind a little custom work they really are worth it.
