Powerfully deep bass and crisp, soaring highs; that's the dynamic combination you're looking for from a serious component system. Look no further! The MMC6500, brought to you by Polk/MOMO, meets your auditory expectations, while maintaining a sleek formula-car racing look.
Revel in the distinct low mids and penetrating bass produced by the woven carbon fiber woofers, and bask in the detailed upper mids and highs delivered by liquid-cooled silk/polymer composite dome tweeters. The tweeter's neodymium magnet saves precious space without compromising sound quality — and you can swivel the tweeter up to 15° for exceptional imaging.
The woofer's cast aluminum basket eliminates disturbing resonance. Durable rubber surrounds keep your system rockin' for years to come. And you don't have to limit these speaker systems to your car — they've passed tough environmental testing that certifies them for marine use as well.

Price: $132.00 Pros: Carbon Fiber Cone, Marine grade, Seperate Tweeter, Excelent power handling Cons: Had to modify the included bracket to mount in my 2005 Wrangler speaker pods Recommended? Yes
Comments: Speaker was slightly larger and required minor modifications for the roll bar speaker pods (2005 with the dual plastic pods). I had to shave down the included brackets and drill a small hole to mount the tweeter.
Crossovers are a bit large to fit inside the pod so they were mounted beneath the rear seat next to the amp powering them. Running ~100w RMS each, easily loud enough to beat road noise with the doors and top removed.
Comments: Amazing rock speakers, they take the high road and give amazing clarity and volume instead of trying to pretend they're subs. you don't get the super electronic lows(thats what subs and 6x9's are for), but kick drums and bass guitar are amazing!
Comments: Replaced the stock 4" speakers and sound bar with these speakers in individual overhead enclosures. Separated the mid range and tweeter and these are an incredible upgrade from what was there. Mounted the crossover behind the roll bar behind the fron seats against the body panel.
