CD Receiver with OEL Display, USB Direct Control of iPod, and 7-Way Rotary Commander
-Advanced Sound Retriever restores the rich, full, dynamic sound to compressed music
-Front input for USB devices
-HD Radio, XM, and Sirius Radio Ready
Pros: OK sound - a good "BASIC" stereo
Cons: USB to iPOD connection "iffy" sometimes
Comments: This is a decent INEXPENSIVE stereo. IF you've got the bux, I'd go for something else, but for a decent little sound system, it's not bad. I've replaced all the speakers in my TJ and the subwoofer is in the console (small sub). If you want bass, you've GOT to add amplification to this thing - just to let you know!
Pros: USB and AUX inputs on the front
Easy to use
Easy to install
Cons: None come to mind yet
Comments: I bought this unit used at a great price and installed it in my 97 TJ. It was super easy to install and has some great, easy to learn features. It's also HD radio, Satellite (SiriusXM), and Bluetooth ready (additional parts required). The OEL display shows iPod playlists and is easy to navigate. The blue display is easy on the eyes during all driving times.
