An upgrade on the IDA-X001 system, the unit sports a 2.2" touchscreen that mimics the iPod's User Interface. The unit also features Bluetooth audio streaming, a USB port for memory stick audio playback and HD/Sat radio readiness. Pros: really awesome ipod integration. cool display

Comments: great head unit. ipod integretion is fast and just like an actual ipod. the screen is bright and looks great especially the clock/ date screen and album view. make sure you get the right ipod cable though and it should work fine- so far i havent had any problems

Pros: It's a digital receiver with built in audessey. Works with all mp3 players and can receive HD radio. It also has bluetooth capabilities. And you can hook it up with a CD changer.
Cons: Doesn't have a built in CD player. But then again why would you need it with a Zune or iPod hooked up?
Recommended? Yes
Comments: Things great. It works with MP3 players so I just hook up my zune via USB. It has audessey which automatically calibrates your system. Lots of other bells and whistles like bluetooth, hd radio, and the ability to hook up a cd changer. Plus it's an Alpine and in my experience they're the best there is in car audio.

Comments: Very well made stereo. I actually have the IDA-X100M. The marine feature works well with no top or doors on my jeep. And who needs CD's anyways.

Comments: Love this unit, but disappointed with the issues when changing iPods, also, poor antenna quality, issues with presets. doesnt allow you to pick stations manually.
