Price: $199.00
Pros: Says street names aloud, lots of features in a small package, gives you estimated arrival time
Cons: Cheap LCD screen, no 'ping' signalling you needing to make a turn
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I got this after using it in someone else's car for a few days. Got it new off ebay for $199.99.

Works great but the LCD screen is very fragile--I don't recommend dropping it, even on a vinyl floor! It cracked immediately and I had to return it--just be careful with it--I have my replacement in a neoprene sleeve for protection.

Sent it back to Garmin, they sent me out a new one, no questions asked.

Has helped me find lots of places where I would've gotten lost if it weren't for my Garmin!

I also like the street names, only other con I can think of is that unlike my old Magellan, this one has no 'ping' or ringing sound to let you know exactly when you need to turn. As a result of this, I have often turned too early for places when I should've driven a bit farther.

Price: $179.99
Pros: refurbished 265 WT purchased from Amazon. This thing is awesome! Bluetooth, great features. I had the factory nav in my 06 Dodge Ram and this thing blows it away. Same with the factory nav in my wife's Mazda CX-9. It's amazing what you can get for less than $200 when the factories want to charge you $3000 for a nav pkg.
Cons: 4.3" screen isn't as big as most factory units and the power cord hanging down the dash isn't as clean as one that's hard wired.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Like I said above, I've had factory Chrysler and Mazda navigation units. This one is superior to all of them and cost less than 10% of them. All of the functionality of the factory units, but with more features. Traffic updates, points of interest that are very useful, etc. You can also purchase extra maps, including topo trail maps for this unit.

Comments: Never thought I would ever need a GPS, but I now that I have one, it has come in handy so many times. Very helpful tool. Shows speed too, which helps because my gauge is a little off from putting bigger wheels on.

Comments: Very good product but has short battery life. Mount is not sufficient for off-road use, suggest trying the "bracketron" bezel gps mount.

Comments: Decent product. In the jeep the vocal street names is useless. But I'm overall pleased with it. It's small enough to throw into your pockek when the jeep is parked.
