Price: $200.00
Pros: Solid, trail marking GPS unit.
Cons: Having to pay $100 plus for software of US highways and hotspots (which I never purchased).
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Purchased this in 2003. I primarily used it for boating, hunting, fishing and marking hotspots, but then converted it to off-road trail usage in CO. Simply click it on, mark your start point, and drive for hours. It will plot every step of the way and you'll never get lost. Good solid, reliable unit.
$100+ for specialty software from Garmin is a RIP-OFF though, so I gave it an average rating.
Would recommend to anyone wanting a basic, reliable, quality, trail-marking GPS unit. Nothing fancy.

Comments: Basic black and white but does the job I need it to do. Colour is over rated!
