Price: $110.00
Pros: awesome 2m rig. rugged enough to offroad.
Cons: not as teeny tiny as the newest models
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I've been using this radio in several vehicles over the last 2 years. No issues. Almost never have to turn it up to full output. It gets out well and has very clear audio.

Price: $150.00
Pros: Simple, powerful, works well.
Cons: Single band.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Hard to beat for the price.
This is my second Ham Radio. 2meter is the most used band around here.
Plenty of people to talk to long range clear reception.
I would like to upgrade to a 2meter/440 at some point, but for now I am happy.

Price: $129.00
Pros: Sturdy, great audio, easily moded
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: For the price I can't think of a better 2 meter rig than this, It has been swapped out of my vehicles for the last three years, and is very forgiving of weather, antennas, and mild abuse. I am going to buy another so I have one for my pickup. Just what you would expect from Yaesu. AWSOME!!!
